Set a mile and a half from the centre of the pretty village of Sedlescombe, in lovely walking country 7 miles north of Hastings, with six golf courses to choose from all within half an hour, it lies within easy reach of romantic, moated Bodiam Castle (NT), the picturesque old town of Rye and Battle Abbey. London by rail from nearby station and day trips to France depart from Ashford. The well stocked village shop/post office and local pub are next to each other, 1 mile on foot via a footpath, or 2 miles by car. Shop and pub 2 miles.

The standard of this accommodation is quite exceptional. The large garden and the scenic environment add to the enjoyment, making for a superb holiday experience. The owners are welcoming and extremely helpful. In short, quite the best holiday cottage we have ever used.
